Ikemen Ramen Bar Reviews
I've eaten twice this week! Especially here’s roasted seafood ramen was very good! I can truly recommend here to my friends. Atmosphere, service, taste perfect. next time, I am gonna have sushi and a ramen ...
We absolutely loved this place. They have some unique ramen types, a few that don’t have pork broth base. We tried the Green Curry and Tom Yum [both with Seafood], both were so unique and delicious. Also, the Takoyaki was authentic and amazing. They have 2 beers on tap and 2 in cans, sticking to what works. The service was attentive and kind. We’ll 100% be back.
One of the best Ramen in Calgary. We tried multiple others, this one is the best and closest to authentic Japanese ramen. We ordered the chicken, pork, and tried the spicy ramen. We love their chicken chasyu the most. It’s tender and tasty yet it keeps the chicken flavour. I also love their spicy paste on top of the spicy noodle. Shio ramen is very good, さっはり! The price is good with the total portion. Side dishes are good but the ramen is really the focus. We also like the idea of うなき poutine. We went there for more than 3 times in less than 2 weeks. Service was very good too, fast and polite.
It was my first time at this Ramen bar & it was a pleasant visit ! The waiter & kitchen were very friendly, we ordered a Miso Ramen & the spicy curry Ramen. They were kind & made it mild for me, i will for sure be returning soon. I recommend coming here for a delicious ramen dinner :)
This is a nice addition to Kensington. We started off with the fried oyster mushrooms which were the best! We also had chicken skins, these were bland so we asked for some garlic mayo and that helped. I ordered Miso Ramen with chicken only and it was delish! My friend had the cold Ramen and it was so pretty looking with the little shrimp. Jayden, our server, was very helpful and super friendly. The atmosphere is beautiful with wooden accents. The bathroom could use some work but overall it's a wonderful little place and I recommend checking it out!
Came here for an early dinner and managed to catch the happy hour that they have on Fridays and Saturdays from 3pm to 6pm. They have some cheap appies and drinks for happy hour specials. We ordered chicken chips, gyozas, Cinnamon mochi, oyster mushrooms, green curry seafood ramen, and the tom yum seafood ramen. The ramens were pretty good, with the tom yum really bold in flavour and the green curry more mild (definitely like the tom yum more). The chicken chips were pretty decent though it seemed like the seasoning didn't really stick to the chips. The oyster mushrooms were similar style to the chicken chips but seemed to hold the seasoning better. The Cinnamon mochi was really good with a perfect texture of gooey chewy-ness. Overall pretty happy with our visit and can recommend it. Also nice that they have parking in the back for patrons.
Had a late night craving for Ramen and took a chance ordering Uber eats. 100% best tasting ramen, in my opinion. Broth is rich, tasty, and not over salty. Definitely will be ordering again.
Walked in on Saturday to have a lunch. Ordered the roasted tomato seafood ramen, chicken Karaage and beer on tap. The ramen portion was enough for two people if you're looking for a light lunch. It was a slow day so I enjoyed the quietness. Service was very fast as well!
